Borehole Drilling - DTH Drilling
Upon receiving a water survey report, the next step involves initiating borehole drilling using the Down The Hole (DTH) technique. This process requires setting up a drilling rig precisely at the location recommended in the report, with prior agreement from the client.
The borehole’s success hinges on one of two conditions:
Firstly, it is deemed successful when the quantity of water extracted aligns with the findings outlined in the water survey report.
Alternatively, the client has the authority to declare the borehole successful upon conducting their own assessment, indicating that it effectively meets their water requirements.
In other words, the DTH drilling operation is executed with precision at the designated location in accordance with the report’s guidance and client approval. Success is gauged by obtaining an adequate water supply, either as documented in the water survey report or determined through client satisfaction.
